I have thought it over and I am starting a new blog. This blog as I have concluded was a pathetic attempt at bloging but nonethe less it was a start for me and proved to be a major breakthrough into the blogging world.
Anyway a lot of things happened during the last two months. I finally got into a university after several tensed weeks.
I will provide the link to my new blog soon. Ok laters...OFKhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01826223645866685371noreply@blogger.com8tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-26595155.post-63429027108744129932007-06-15T22:59:00.000+05:002007-06-16T22:30:26.933+05:00Exams overSo my A-level exams have finally finished and I don't know what to do?
I don't really feel free for some reason. I don't feel any happiness. I think theres some bullshit going on here.
I am wasting my time on TV and sleeping. Got to get a job in some BPO. I hope I can get one, dammit!
I have to start playing Tennis from tomorrow. my weight has increased to 85 kg and that's bad although that's not my maximum.
Got to also start and make an electronic circuit.I am starting to hate the stupid template again and was thinking of changing it. I am hating the summer heat!
Thanks God that it rained last night. Have to watch some movies. Still havn't watched Spiderman 3. I think I will be able to get Prison Break season 1 tomorrow.OFKhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01826223645866685371noreply@blogger.com10tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-26595155.post-36016694695645120792007-05-13T22:14:00.000+05:002007-05-13T22:35:32.055+05:00Final Cambridge Exams! The first paper is on the 21st May. I haven't prepared much. The had given the NUST entry test and got a fucking low 1531 merit position. But may be I can get into some low priority course I think. Anyway I also gave the SAT II tests and I think I gave an average test. Later I analyzed my self and noted that I was attempting the test a little slowly than I should have done.
I hope I get something good because if I don't get something good my chances of going into NUST on SAT would get even lesser.
I think I will change my template soon. I searched for some templates but I still couldn't find a template good enough for me.OFKhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01826223645866685371noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-26595155.post-80759342600419893212007-03-11T19:26:00.000+05:002007-03-11T19:39:19.820+05:00Mocks starting 2morrow!Its been a long time since I posted. I got several chances to post but one thing or another came in the way. Several events passed but I didn't write anything. Now that my mock exams are starting from tommorow I am suddenly writing. Anyway all this time I was also busy changing from the old blogger to the google blogger which was an agonizingly too long. The templates for my blogs had to be changed which still have bugs in them. Anyway everytings ok right now. Havn't got much time so I would write after the mocks. An officer in our sector(E-9) died today morning in an accident.
Time and time I realise that we mortals can not escape death and still we think that we are going to go on like this for ever and it would not not come upon us...OFKhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01826223645866685371noreply@blogger.com4tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-26595155.post-1171054245135954242007-02-10T00:48:00.000+05:002007-02-10T12:21:12.443+05:00Back to realityLast week end I went to Muree and then further to Muzafarabad in Azad Kashmir. The family trip have been routine since I was a kid and I think the most visited place in these trips would be to Muree. As it near to Islamabad and a well developed and a popular destination among the people of Pakistan.
Anyway overall the trip was good. I did several things that we hadn't done before in Muree. We did some obstacle courses in a newly built adventure camp. We went to Muzafarabad for the first time by making the decision after reaching there and we also went to the mall at night and ate a pizza there.
It got really cold at night when we went to the Mall. On the way to Azad Kashmir(Capital: Muzafarabad) you can find a lot of scenic views which are totally breathtaking. There is the Jehlam river flowing beside the road going to the capital and to add to all this thrill you can find several streams converging into the river. Heres a picture from the trip

More on my flickr page: http://www.flickr.com/photos/33747276@N00/
I will recommend to people on going on this journey as it would be worth all the expenses. So I think finally my life more on track now after the vacation and the peaceful time away from the noisy city life. I would finally be able to get all the froms and documents before the 20th of Febuary( last date to submit the forms for NUST).OFKhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01826223645866685371noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-26595155.post-1169325299454754652007-01-21T01:25:00.000+05:002007-01-21T01:34:59.466+05:00Low on Life...My reappearing exams result came and I got a C in chemistry with a lower percentage than the last one.I was really depressed yesterday. On the other hand I still havn't got any ideas for Islamabad metblogs.
This after some time now that I think my exams sucked more than the average. Damn I have got another problem on my head! The inblogs.net isn't working any more for some reason! While downloading the PC suddenly hanged and I having no options had to restart it. Next thing I know is that there is some file missing in the windows folder.
I don't know much about fixing PCs so I sat for two weeks with out logging on to the internet. And for the first time I realized the it was quite difficult to live without it although bearable. So anyway I had no other option but to fix it my self. This led me to finding ways to rectify the problem. In my experience of using the computer for about 7 years I have atleast found out that most of time when there is something wrong with window or anything getting corrupted in the system registry or anything related to DLL files, you most probably have to reinstall windows with formatting the drive due to which some precious data can be lost!
So after managing to get a bootable windows CD and asking about some DOS commands from my friend( to whom I phoned almost after half an year), I finally installed windows. I had done the whole process two time before I managed to do it right on the third try.
Although the biggest problem wasn't installing windows and formatting but it installing the drivers for it( yes people I am still using windows 98). I had to find an old CD in my CD collection which was packed in a large box, upon which there were several other thing stacked( and they were really heavy).
I got the CD and installed the different drivers but the VGA driver wasn't working so I had to find it from somewhere else. Anyway after searching for 2 hours in different CDs and retrying to install from the same CD again and again and hoping that it would work I finally found driver which was already there in the D: drive. At first I didn't know how to install it but after another hour of fiddling with different thing I got it.OFKhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01826223645866685371noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-26595155.post-1166902815387554852006-12-23T23:34:00.000+05:002006-12-24T00:44:14.306+05:00Sitting amidst rich peopleI went to Super Market a few days back and it was after quite some time. I think I saw some changes in the people or was it the area it self, I haven't figured that out yet. I guess people of Isloo are changing because of enlightened moderation. More of the girls were wearing jeans and shirts. Anyway who cares? People have the right to wear what ever they want to wear!
I had basically went to buy a book to read (which I did in the end). I noticed a marked increase in the prices of the books, even in the pirated ones. I bought a book buy John Grisham and finished it in a day. John Grisham is one of my favorite authors.
I may have mentioned earlier that I notice a lot in my surroundings and what's happening around me. While going around in the market I saw for an instant a middle aged man while passing in front of him, who sitting infront of a shop selling socks! I think his legs were either broken or he had some disease. The socks on display were only few in number possibly 8-10. And they seemed to be of the lowest quality. And I wondered for rest of the night about the life of that poor guy who trying to earn a living in the harsh cold weather. Who was at the mercy of the rich. I felt sorry for him but what could people like me do except just pray to Allah. One of my priority in life would be to help poor people like these in the future ( provided that I was very rich).
<iframe src="http://rcm.amazon.com/e/cm?t=lifeinislamab-20&o=1&p=13&l=bn1&mode=wireless-phones&browse=301185&fc1=<1=&lc1=&bg1=&f=ifr" marginwidth="0" marginheight="0" border="0" style="border: medium none ;" frameborder="0" height="60" scrolling="no" width="468">OFKhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01826223645866685371noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-26595155.post-1166724659360299732006-12-21T23:00:00.000+05:002006-12-21T23:10:59.370+05:00Heres a picture from last weeks trip to Nathia Gali...
OFKhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01826223645866685371noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-26595155.post-1166523045364789392006-12-19T14:47:00.000+05:002006-12-19T15:10:46.343+05:00TestsI took some tests on this website so here are the results...

Your Life is 58% Perfect

Your life is pretty normal - sometimes great, sometimes not so great.
You have a lot of good stuff going on. I am wondering if I should be asleep in bed or not. I feel that I am slowly moving into oblivion and it feels good like that. I have a physics test tomorrow and my preparation for it as always seems to be unsatisfactory!
I can hear people walking above my floor and I wonder what they are doing at this hour of the night( most probably the girls must be watching TV). I had been thinking about this trip to Donga Gali( some place near Murree) for some days now. I have got flu and throat infection due to the cold. The trip sounds tempting so in the end I decided to go as some of my friends are going( its a school trip) and it would be fun if there was snow there!
Moreover its the last year in high school so I thought I would attend every event this year. Its been a while since I have been on night prowling. My brother snores and for a moment I got curious whether I snore or not. Who cares?( Maybe my wife will when I get married. Still a long way for that...)
I have to register for SAT2 and today I heard someone say that the seats for the test have already been taken both in Islamabad and Lahore. Thanks to my ever slow and retarded brain. Damit!
Simultaneously I am also orkuteering! Orkut has taken Pakistan by storm! Now that the population of paindo people is more than the decent ones I was thinking of switching to My Spaces. Thanks to their fraindsheep messages they can be noticed every where( I wonder why don't they correct the spelling)! I already have an account there but I didn't like its interface. Anyway SPIDER has speculated that Orkut is out and My Spaces is in! Although I disagree with that because Orkut is much easier and faster.
Haaaaaaaa...! I think I better sleep...OFKhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01826223645866685371noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-26595155.post-1165583601412872322006-12-08T17:26:00.000+05:002006-12-13T19:08:07.586+05:00Being BlindThe world cup for the blind has started recently in Islamabad and the matches are only being held at F-9 Park and the E-9 sector( my very own sector) cricket ground. Although the ground is near to my home but I still haven't gone to watch one of the matches( the reason being too lazy to move around)!
Anyway I tried to see one of the match today between Pakistan and England, but when I reached there the match was already over and England was already packing to go back to their hotels, while the Pakistani team had already left. I will try again tomorrow to watch a match. Anyway I later found out that Pakistan had won.
My point here is not just reporting the event but to creat awareness about blind people and their difficulties. How many times in our lives do we thank Allah for giving us two eyes to see this beautiful world, so vibrant and rich in colours. Could a normal person ever bare to live without seeing his surroundings? I guess no! Well that's why God has created these people so that it reminds us of the bounties, the gifts and the blessings that He has given us. More over its also a test for us that we should help these needy people who need our constant support.
I have recently read that scientist have created a device that aids a visually impaired person to see which also include those which are totally blind. They can make out different objects around them through that device which is constantly modified to bring out a better version of it. I hope that one day blind people would be able to see completely.

OFKhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01826223645866685371noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-26595155.post-1165308617065202852006-12-05T13:35:00.000+05:002006-12-12T18:13:35.196+05:00Living without TV...Since we shifted to our new home we didn't open our TV. So I haven't watched TV for around 3 or 4 months( except for the time when I watched it at other peoples houses). So my point is that people think that they can't live without certain things like TV, a PC or a mobile and I think that they are bull shitting!
For me it has been quite peaceful. I mean that TV wastes a lot of our time. So I have adopted reading which is a much better & pleasurable activity. Although I still count my self in the those people who are slaves to technology and who would consider there lives more painful without the use electronic gadgets( but livable).
Anyway I do like TV if the above script sugests that I am anti-TV. TV has its advantage because of the vast amount of information you can get on it. All the latest news from around the world and you know a lot of different things.
Who cares people can watch what ever they want but my point here was that we can live without TV if not without the internet!OFKhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01826223645866685371noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-26595155.post-1165164742059601812006-12-03T20:44:00.000+05:002006-12-03T21:52:22.153+05:00Road to PeshawarI just came back from Peshawar a few a hours back! It has inevitably started to rain from yesterday. Its raining in Peshawar and its raining here in Islamabad. So most probably its also raining in the rest of Pakistan. The temperature has dropped significantly. I had gone to Peshawar to attend my second cousins wedding. Although wedding ceremonies are meant to be enjoyed but I think this one was boring like any other. I don't know why I end up hating a get together(either a family or a friends one)!
I noticed quite a significant change in Peshawar. While I thought it would be the same or may be even more backward than before. I had been reading in newspaper about the actions of the MMA government in NWFP. I thought Peshawar would be more strict than ever! Women moving around in Burqas( Veils ) and men with beards and stuff like that. But what I find is less women wearing the Burqa and more opting for just a chadar( a large piece of cloth) without covering there faces. There are new big shopping plaza here and there with all the latest stuff apart from the shopping centre claimed to be Pakistans biggest. And then the ever expanding Hayatabad commercial area! You can find anything there. Any product from around the world. Either smuggled or imported.
And MMA was calling Islamabad the " the city of obscenity" or something like that! I also visited one of my khala. And there I met her husbands father. Hes an old man and almost imediatly started to tell old stories from his life, complained about lots of stuff( crime, corruption, blah blah blah, in short form Pakistan) and a lot of other things. One thing I would like to mention is that he said that Afghanis were the most baighairat( anyone for translating that) of all nations. They can do anything for money! Even sell there wives and daughters for the night. I don't know why have I written this.
Personally I hate these fucking Afghanis from the start who are destroying this country even more and are a fucking burden upon this already fucked up country!OFKhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01826223645866685371noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-26595155.post-1164397111724097572006-11-24T22:49:00.000+05:002006-11-25T00:38:32.516+05:00AmnesiaI think a lot about things that I would write about in my blog. But usually a fail to remember them when I sit for writing!
I guess I have got "Amnesia" or something...
While I spent most of my life in a secured PAF communities, I had little exposure to the civil life of the general public. Last year while living alone in a big city for the first time gave me some good experience. Usually after school I talked quite less. I used to think a lot about different things( Although I don't remember nothing out of that). I don't know why I am writing this but I have to write something!
Last Saturday we had a soccer match. We haven't got much of a team but we play well. The match drew 1-1 but it could have been a win if it had finished on time! Anyway I don't want to go into details. Hoping to play another one before winter vacations.
Last week my dad went to Germany and I asked him to bring me a digital camera. Although he couldn't bring one but one of the companies that he visited gave him a camera as a gift( And its a canon camera). Once more Allah( God ) listened to me! And I couldn't believe it. Anyway now that I have got my own camera maybe I will be uploading more pictures and maybe some videos of my own.
Oh! I just thought about what I was writing and then saw what the topic was. I think I seriously have got Amnesia.OFKhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01826223645866685371noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-26595155.post-1163953883300146062006-11-19T21:13:00.000+05:002006-11-23T14:30:04.350+05:00Some random pics...Last week me and my friend took some pictures. The paper didn't go as well as I had expected. Anyway what's done is done. I don't have much time so I just want to write about this news column that I read in DAWN last Saturday. It was truly an eye opener for Pakistanis. Here's some extracts from the column....

"Raising red flags is perhaps premature at this time, but is any one back home picking up signals and connecting the dots? If I were a Pakistani, I would worry there are frightening times ahead, said Seymour Hersh. You guys are next.
<iframe src="http://rcm.amazon.com/e/cm?t=lifeinislamab-20&o=1&p=8&l=as1&asins=B000IJVETY&fc1=F9F9F9&IS2=1<1=_blank&lc1=84B909&bc1=454545&bg1=454545&f=ifr" style="width: 120px; height: 240px;" marginwidth="0" marginheight="0" frameborder="0" scrolling="no"> Its Pakistans turn after Iran. Your nuclear programme is the target. This is no idle chatter. The sombre warning comes from a journalist well wired with intelligence sources, not just in the American CIA, but the Mossad in Israel, RAW in India and the ISI in Pakistan. The Pulitzer Prize winner has sources crawling around these intelligence agencies who gladly hand him classified information."
(This has been said by investigative journilist Seymour Hersh)
Heres more
http://www.dawn.com/weekly/dmag/dmag18.htmOFKhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01826223645866685371noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-26595155.post-1163079682450008692006-11-09T18:38:00.000+05:002006-11-09T18:41:22.466+05:00Will be back soon!I am having some papers so I wont be posting for some days. Anyway when I am back I hope I would have some pictures to upload. Please do check them!OFKhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01826223645866685371noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-26595155.post-1162494994482171452006-11-02T23:34:00.000+05:002006-11-03T20:03:54.663+05:00FM Radio!Recently I have been listening to different FM radio stations. This is because currently I have no access to TV. So I have to quench the thirst for entertainment through radio( maybe the lines got a bit cheesy).
Anyway usually I listen to FM 89 and FM 91. Both of them mostly air shows in English. I initially liked 89 because of its much better presentation and much clearer signal, but at the moment I like 91 because of its much better content.
One of my favorite show is the Fasi Zaka show aired at 10pm on Tuesdays and Wednesdays on FM 91. Yesterday Fasi was discussing things with the guest about different things. They had started off with discussing problems of middle class people and Fasi asked that what was the biggest problem faced by the middle class?
And she said that it was the transport ! I totally agreed with her. While I was living alone in Islamabad transport had been my biggest problem.
First of all the public transport in Islamabad is run by private van owners. So it sucks! There is no proper seating available in most of the vans. The space is all cramped up inside the van.
So my point is that its the responsibility of the government to provide trasport facilities to the public who can not afford there own cars. For god sakes its the capital of the country and you dont have any efficiant mass transit system!
A month back I read a news article that said that the government was doing something about giving a contract to some company( possibly Deawoo). I hope they do something about it soon.OFKhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01826223645866685371noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-26595155.post-1162226797339378892006-10-30T21:16:00.000+05:002006-10-30T22:07:07.666+05:00ZIBAHKHANA - HELL's GROUND
www.zibahkhana.com

I recently came accross this horror film being made by a Pakistani Director Omar Khan(also the owner of the "hotspot" chain). I searched for it a few times and couldn't get much about it. The official website it self sucks!
The images shown there totally have an amateur look. From the look of it I think the movie is being made in Islamabad.
One more thing funny is the name of the company " Bubonic Films "! Could Omar Khan think of a better name? Anyway these are some extracts that some other people wrote.

"The film tells the story of a gang of teens heading to a rock concert whose path is blocked by a protest against polluted drinking water. Cutting around the protestors on a little-used country road, they run afoul of a family of "Texas Chainsaw Massacre"-style psychopaths who slaughter them with relish."

"This will be produced by the horror film specilists bubonic films a sister company of pakistans no.1 ice cream parlour 'hotspot'."

More on this link
http://www.variety.com/article/VR1117951886.html?categoryid=19&cs=1

<iframe src="http://rcm.amazon.com/e/cm?t=lifeinislamab-20&o=1&p=15&l=bn1&mode=music&browse=301668&fc1=<1=&lc1=&bg1=&f=ifr" marginwidth="0" marginheight="0" border="0" style="border: medium none ;" frameborder="0" height="240" scrolling="no" width="468">OFKhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01826223645866685371noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-26595155.post-1162018441217153312006-10-28T11:09:00.000+05:002006-10-28T11:54:02.650+05:00Eid Mubarak!I came back yesterday evening from Kohat. As its my hometown all of us(my family) had to go there on my father's order for the Eid! There are several reason due to which I do not like to go there. But none the less this time the trip was much better. Eid was as boring as ever. It doesn't hold the same charm for me any more. Maybe its because I have grown up or because I don't link to go there. Anyway the good thing that I like in my village is the respect given to me and my father. You have to meet every one and than shake hands and hug them even when you don't know them.
Although I like to visit my mamo jee's and khalas cousins(maternal uncle and aunt). I think what people call the happiness found in the family is to be found here for me. Theres always this atmosphere of euphoria over there. Everyone have a great time over there. The food is always tasty.
Then there is my cousin who is almost the same age as me. We(he,me,his bro and my bros) also went to Tanda dam which is located near Kohat. The area surrounding the dam is beautiful.Although the dam is beautiful but due to the local tourist it has been highly polluted. The concerned authorities should do something about it.
Its good be back home.OFKhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01826223645866685371noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-26595155.post-1161418780768321452006-10-21T13:16:00.000+05:002006-10-21T13:19:40.770+05:00Asteroids( Play this game ppl!
