Sleepy and boring!

According to the people from rest of the Pakistan, Islamabad is a boring city with nothing fun to do.But on the contrary it is not. U can visit a lot of places if you are in the mood for party and U must have the right friends in some cases! One place that has become quite popular these days is the Hotspot. Its a cool place to chill out. Recently Dunkin' Donuts have also opened a lot of there outlets in almost every big markaz( Central Market of a sector). They are also a cool place to visit. Apart from these there are many other resturants which U can visit! I would be adding more names soon with pictures.

I would start with the fact that the people of Islamabad are quite liberal if you compare them with the rest of the Pakistan. Most the population is educated and a lot of them can speak English fluently. Many have accepted the western ideas. Girls specially talk with a made up American accent.
Let me now tell you about the atmosphere in my school. Most of the students that study in my school can be presumed to be belonging to the upper middleclass rather than the elite class of citizens. A large percentage of boys and girls would mingle with each other and converse quite freely on various subjects.Boyfriends and girlfriends are quite common. Students try to be more trendy and fashionable to gain popularity and attract others attention.Music is a popular topic the teenagers here. Most have the latest information about the western music scene. Boy are particularly influenced by the rock music and the hip-hop culture. A lot of people in school can afford latest gadgets like expensive mobile phones. Portable mp3 players are quiet common and their head phones can be seen clanged to their ears. Some even own cars. So the environment here can be associated to a western high school (except that we don't have lockers here).
I am explaining this due to the fact that Islamabad is quite different for the rest of the cities of Pakistan.Activities that happen in Islamabad do not happen in other cities except for bigger cities like lahore and Karachi. Unlike the other cities Islamabad is quite liberal.Although I would say that we as a nation are losing our identity and culture.

For the next two years I had to do my A-levels from The City School. As I had already studied in this school I was looking forward to meet my old friends.I went to the school in the morning and confirmed my registration in the school. While confirming my registration another boy was also registring, who turned out to be in my class. This boy was to become one of my good friends in the future. I went to my class along with him on the first floor. There were only a few students at that time in the class, so I waited for others to come.I soon met with quite a lot of my old friends. The first class of the acedamic years was to start in the second period,so we just lingered in the corridors of the 1st floor. The first classes were quite boring. After they were over I returned back to were I lived. I found my self difficult to accomodate my self in this new envirnoment. But things would soon change.
